Ramsgate, Kent
This job saw us convert a disused and unloved garage in Ramsgate (which had a nasty habit of swallowing almost all of the natural light shone into the garden) into a sleek and modern drive way space. After taking the old structure down we dug out 15 tonnes of soil before filling it with a compressed hardcore base. We then installed calibrated Indian sandstone slabs onto a solid mortar foundation and pointed with a resin mortar. Our task was complicated when we discovered the existing slabs were incorrectly laid, but we rolled with the punches and ensured a timely delivery and another happy client.
